From nurseries to job fairs and summer galas this job doesn’t lack variety. Mixed with visiting local companies and organisations my summer has been illuminating even without the sunshine. Three weeks into summer recess and the building process continues. I am pleased to say that I have secured a temporary office at 11b Clarence Street, Greenock and once change of use is secured from the council, my permanent office will be opening shortly. Hiroshima Remembered
Hiroshima is a city built around 7 rivers. In 1945 it had a population of 350,000 people.
It was the first target for an atomic bomb. Exploded at just over 1,000 feet above the city for maximum effect. Over the course of time up to 180,000 people died and 13 square kilometres of the city were destroyed. Continue reading “Hiroshima Remembered”
