National Lottery funding for Inverclyde

I’m pleased to learn that Lottery funding for projects in Inverclyde, for the past 5 years, is sitting at over £12m invested.  This is good news and highlights an upward trend in charities, community groups and organisations making applications and being successful.

When I was first elected, in 2015, I was aware the number of applications to the Lottery from the area was quite low so I arranged a number of funding events to encourage an uptake in applications.  Recently, we’ve seen Craigend Resource Centre, Mind Mosaic, Inverclyde Shed and Inverclyde Carers Centre receive funding which is very welcome.

I would encourage community groups and charities to consider making an application to The National Lottery Community Fund by visiting www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk.
