Recently, I met with Inverclyde Foodbank to discuss their on-going work in the community and how elected representatives can support said work.
I’m fully aware of the welfare challenges in Inverclyde as my office receives correspondence, on a near daily basis, from constituents who are struggling to make ends meet.
Therefore, I am more than happy to continue supporting the foodbank and hosting one of their ‘Foodbank Drop Off Point’ cages in my office. I would encourage residents of Inverclyde to support the foodbank, in any way they can, and purchase shopping which my office can pass to Inverclyde Foodbank.
