Meeting with UK Govt re Broadband

Earlier this week, I met with the Minister for Digital and Culture, Matt Hancock MP, to discuss broadband access and speeds in Inverclyde.

At the meeting I expressed my dismay at the fractured and often unsuitable provision of suitable broadband, to both domestic and business premises, within Inverclyde.

He was sympathetic to my views and has agreed to provide me with a list of all the potential providers that could be approached to deliver a solution to neglected areas of Inverclyde.

There is no one size fits all solution and we must look at a wide variety of potential solutions to find the ones that can be utilised and enable us to work towards resolving this issue.
